At Austin Wilkinson and Sons we have been providing a first class transport and distribution service for over 55 years. It originally started in Salford with just two vehicles and has now grown to become one of the major hauliers in the North West. We now have our head office and open storage in a purpose built complex in Atherton at the centre of the Manchester, Bolton and Wigan triangle.
Close to both the M6 and M62 motorway networks it is ideally situated to both collect and deliver your goods to all parts of the country.

Our Services
To enable our customers to choose either a fast, express service or enjoy the benefit of a more economical service we offer a variety of delivery times. These include guaranteed next day delivery, or the more economical 48 hour or even 72 hour delivery.
All our vehicles are maintained to a very high standard by our own in-house team of highly skilled engineers. Our vehicles are fully liveried and have direct, hands free contact with the main office.
To ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of our Palletline vehicles they are all equipped with tail lift facility.
We have an extensive range of vehicles to cater for a wide range of our customer needs ranging from 7.5t rigids to 44t curtain-sided articulated trailers.
